●○ About Me ○●
♪♫ Plenty of room to swing a rope
Plenty of heart and plenty of hope,
OOOKLAHOMA where the wind comes sweeping down the plain ♪♫
...where I was born and raised!
I am proud of my Oklahoma roots because they have shaped the best aspects of my life and personality. I am resilient, hardworking, and smile at people as they walk by. I love adventures in new places, hosting game nights, and cooking for friends. Most importantly, plenty of heart goes into all of my endeavors.
I fell in love with acting early in life and pursued every opportunity to grow as a professional entertainer. I performed for school and community groups, participated in pageants, talent shows, and workshops, and studied and performed in London during my senior year of high school. I earned an Honors degree in Theatre from Oklahoma State University and then married my high school sweetheart (who I met on a theatre set!).
Kendall and I were wed on the Hawaiian Island of Kaua'i, and started our married life together in Nagoya, Japan, where we taught English and worked on improving our Japanese language skills. While in Japan, I had the pleasure of working with a fantastic theatre company, playing the role of Ophelia in Hamlet. My experience living in different cultures and traveling the world has given me a global perspective that I am eager to bring to my future roles.
Now my home is a place where people from all over the world visit for the thriving theatre scene, great food, and beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan. Chicago is a great fit for me because, even if there isn't plenty of room to swing a rope, there is plenty of hope for the opportunities that await me, and of course, the sweeping wind.

Of course, I have been out there auditioning as always, but this month I've had some big ones. I have been asked to audition for a national campaign and gotten a few good callbacks, too (which is always a success in my book). So, some big things could be in the works.Check back in August for updates. *fingers crossed*
Most notably, I completed my first Chicago class, 'Camera Technique' with Doug McDade, at the Acting Studio, Chicago.
